HWAtu- AR card game Experience
Hwatu is a card game first invented in Japan, but got very popular in Korea nowadays. Koreans play Hwatu on holidays with family or friends. I personally like to play Hwatu, but many of my friends don't know how to play it.
Every card looks so different from others, and many beginners find it so hard to guess which one is which. They didn't know which cards are matching. If you wanted to play Hwatu, you had to learn from someone who knows how to play it. I came up with the idea from here. I created an AR app that helps you match the cards. Moreover, it will show the cards' hidden meaning so it expands the experience into the storytelling of each month.
There are 4 matching cards in one set, and each set represents every month. Thus there are total 48 cards. The basic rule is that players have to find matching cards.
Each card is designated with a piece of music. When the player sees matching cards through the AR app, they will be connected with a red line, the relevant scene will pop up, and the music will be harmonized too.
